At The Generation Connection, we aim to organize a range of interesting and enriching events for our youth and senior campers to attend. We provide meals, snacks, and transportation for all our events. Here is a list of upcoming and completed events for 2016:
Camper Fee: FREE
This is a free, one-day trip to see the Nashville Predators play in the Bridgestone Arena. It will include a workshop provided by the Predators Foundation, and a lunch provided by local restaurant Lockland Table. All TGC and Camp Discover campers from the traveling camp are invited; additional slots will be open for registration if available.
Camper Fee: $250
This is the classic TGC camp: it features a three-day trip to breathtaking locations like the Foster Falls, Elk River, and the Sewanee University Campus. We will be staying two nights at the Dubose Recreational Center, and all meals and snacks will be provided. Campers will participate in the making of a camp video (see our videos page), and will be invited to come see a free Predator’s game in the fall.
A one-day outing to the Chicken Extravaganza Festival organized by the Dixon Springs Historical Society. The kids had a great time playing with the animals, splashing in the stream, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and got to visit a house from the 1700’s where the future king of France once lived!
