Here are the photos from our one-day excursion to the Chicken Extravaganza Festival! The festival is organized by the Dixon Springs Historical Preservation Society, and our kids got to enjoy the farm animals that were brought out and participate in the sack and egg races. After lunch, we visited an old bank and heard about the fascinating story of its robbery and restoration. Last but not least, we went on a tour of a house from the 1700’s where a future king of France once stayed! We had an awesome time, as you can see in the photos below! A big thank you to board member Jim Polk for your hard work organizing this event!
