The Generation Connection is excited to announce its partnership with the Nashville Predators Foundation for the 2016 year! The Predators Foundation is a charity organization that is devoted to funneling the excitement of professional sports towards the needs of the community.Every year, the Foundation gives several hundred thousands of dollars in grants to Nashville and Middle Tennessee area charities and community service organizations.
The Generation Connection has received a $3000 grant and will be using it to bring about a collaboration initiative with kids from the Grundy County. The first part of this initiative will take place during our 3-day travelling camp, when the Grundy kids will join us at the Sewanee University Farm for a service project. The second part will take place some time in the fall, and will include a free dinner at local restaurant Lockeland Table and a free trip to see a Nashville Predators game and take part in a workshop provided by the Foundation.
